Who We Are

The Mountain Climate Trust is a philanthropic organization founded by distinguished former civil servants and environmentalists. It is focused on implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Indian Himalayas.

We are an umbrella organisation that shall assist individuals and small NGO’s with ideas and initiatives on:

Forest conservation; Water harvesting; Traditional farming;
Waste disposal; Cultural heritage tourism; Responsible adventure tourism.
All activities that arrest climate change.

The Trust is working towards creating systems and strengthening institutions to achieve inclusive growth and environmental balance. Projects on the ground shall transform and adapt traditional models of development into self sustaining clusters.

Our Mission
